Personally for several projects, I was already running an xTTS 2.0 model on a machine equipped with a 1080Ti GPU. So I just added of a bunch sound processing steps to increase the pitch of the synthetic voice. It sounds as childish as the original Cozmo voice was.

I completely agree. Cozmo and Vector were such awesome robots. It is sad that they are being replaced by boring things these days when there is potential for more robots like them. In my opinion, the best time for companion robots was 5 years ago when DDL had just taken over Anki and there was so much hope for Vector and Cozmo. It's sad that DDL just gave up on these robots. Also, 5 years ago was when Emo was released, who is what I think is the best companion robot because he has a mix of AI features and fun things like games.
